We contemplate the Blessed Virgin, at the end of her earthly life, taken body and soul into heaven. No corruption touches her; she is raised to the glory promised to all who persevere in grace. The angels rejoice to receive their Queen.
This mystery teaches devotion and purity. Where Mary has gone, the faithful hope to follow. Purity of heart unites earth to heaven. The soul that stays clean can receive eternal life.
