25:1 Der HERR sprach dann zu Mose folgendermaßen:

25:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

25:2 »Fordere die Israeliten auf, eine Beisteuer an mich zu entrichten! Von einem jeden, den sein Herz dazu treibt, sollt ihr die Abgabe an mich annehmen!

25:2 Speak to the children of Israel, that they bring firstfruits to me: of every man that offereth of his own accord, you shall take them.

25:3 Und zwar besteht die Abgabe, die ihr von ihnen erheben sollt, in folgendem: in Gold, Silber und Kupfer;

25:3 And these are the things you must take: Gold, and silver, and brass,

25:4 in blauem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin, in Byssus und Ziegenhaar;

25:4 Violet and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

25:5 in rotgefärbten Widderfellen und Seekuhhäuten; in Akazienholz;

25:5 And rams' skins dyed red, and violet skins, and setim wood:

25:6 in Öl zur Beleuchtung, in Gewürzkräutern für das Salböl und für das wohlriechende Räucherwerk;

25:6 Oil to make lights: spices for ointment, and for sweetsmelling incense:

25:7 in Onyxsteinen und anderen Edelsteinen zum Besatz für das Schulterkleid und für das Brustschild.

25:7 Onyx stones, and precious stones to adorn the ephod and the rational.

25:8 Sie sollen mir nämlich ein Heiligtum herstellen, damit ich mitten unter ihnen wohne.

25:8 And they shall make me a sanctuary, and I will dwell in the midst of them:

25:9 Genau so, wie ich dir das Musterbild der Wohnung und das Musterbild aller ihrer Geräte zeigen werde, so sollt ihr es herstellen.«

25:9 According to all the likeness of the tabernacle which I will shew thee, and of all the vessels for the service thereof: and thus you shall make it:

25:10 »Sie sollen also eine Lade aus Akazienholz anfertigen, zweieinhalb Ellen lang, anderthalb Ellen breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch.

25:10 Frame an ark of setim wood, the length whereof shall be of two cubits and a half; the breadth, a cubit and a half; the height, likewise, a cubit and a half.

25:11 Du sollst sie mit feinem Gold überziehen, und zwar inwendig und auswendig, und oben einen goldenen Kranz ringsum an ihr anbringen.

25:11 And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold, within and without; and over it thou shalt make a golden crown round about:

25:12 Sodann gieße für sie vier goldene Ringe und befestige sie unten an ihren vier Ecken, und zwar zwei Ringe an ihrer einen Seite und zwei Ringe an ihrer andern Seite.

25:12 And four golden rings, which thou shalt put at the four corners of the ark: let two rings be on the one side, and two on the other.

25:13 Weiter fertige zwei Stangen von Akazienholz an, überziehe sie mit Gold

25:13 Thou shalt make bars also of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold.

25:14 und stecke diese Stangen in die Ringe an den Seiten der Lade, damit man die Lade vermittels ihrer tragen kann.

25:14 And thou shalt put them in through the rings that are in the sides of the ark, that it may be carried on them:

25:15 Die Stangen sollen in den Ringen der Lade verbleiben: sie dürfen nicht daraus entfernt werden.

25:15 And they shall be always in the rings, neither shall they at any time be drawn out of them.

25:16 In die Lade sollst du dann das Gesetz legen, das ich dir geben werde.

25:16 And thou shalt put in the ark the testimony which I will give thee.

25:17 Sodann fertige eine Deckplatte aus feinem Gold an, zweieinhalb Ellen lang und anderthalb Ellen breit.

25:17 Thou shalt make also a propitiatory of the purest gold: the length thereof shall be two cubits and a half, and the breadth a cubit and a half.

25:18 Weiter sollst du zwei goldene Cherube anfertigen, und zwar in getriebener Arbeit, an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte.

25:18 Thou shalt make also two cherubims of beaten gold, on the two sides of the oracle.

25:19 Den einen Cherub sollst du am Ende der einen Seite und den andern Cherub am Ende der andern Seite anbringen; mit der Deckplatte zu einem Stück verbunden sollt ihr die Cherube an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte anbringen.

25:19 Let one cherub be on the one side, and the other on the other.

25:20 Die Cherube sollen die Flügel nach oben hin ausgebreitet halten, so daß sie die Deckplatte mit ihren Flügeln überdecken; ihre Gesichter sollen einander zugekehrt und zugleich zur Deckplatte hin gerichtet sein.

25:20 Let them cover both sides of the propitiatory, spreading their wings, and covering the oracle, and let them look one towards the other, their faces being turned towards the propitiatory wherewith the ark is to be covered.

25:21 Die Deckplatte sollst du dann oben auf die Lade legen; und in die Lade sollst du das Gesetz tun, das ich dir geben werde.

25:21 In which thou shalt put the testimony that I will give thee.

25:22 Daselbst will ich mit dir dann zusammenkommen; und von der Deckplatte herab, aus dem Raum zwischen den beiden Cheruben hervor, die auf der Gesetzeslade stehen, will ich dir alles mitteilen, was ich den Israeliten durch dich aufzutragen habe.

25:22 Thence will I give orders, and will speak to thee over the propitiatory, and from the midst of the two cherubims, which shall be upon the ark of the testimony, all things which I will command the children of Israel by thee.

25:23 Ferner sollst du einen Tisch aus Akazienholz anfertigen, zwei Ellen lang, eine Elle breit und anderthalb Ellen hoch.

25:23 Thou shalt make a table also of setim wood, of two cubits in length, and a cubit in breadth, and a cubit and a half in height.

25:24 Überziehe ihn mit feinem Gold und bringe an ihm ringsum einen goldenen Kranz an.

25:24 And thou shalt overlay it with the purest gold: and thou shalt make to it a golden ledge round about.

25:25 Sodann bringe an ihm ringsum eine Einfassung an, die eine Handbreit hoch ist, und an dieser Einfassung wiederum einen goldenen Kranz ringsum.

25:25 And to the ledge itself a polished crown, four inches high; and over the same another little golden crown.

25:26 Dann fertige für ihn vier goldene Ringe an und befestige diese Ringe an den vier Ecken bei seinen vier Füßen.

25:26 Thou shalt prepare also four golden rings, and shalt put them in the four corners of the same table, over each foot.

25:27 Dicht an der Einfassung sollen sich die Ringe befinden zur Aufnahme der Stangen, mit denen man den Tisch tragen kann.

25:27 Under the crown shall the golden rings be, that the bars may be put through them, and the table may be carried.

25:28 Die Stangen verfertige aus Akazienholz und überziehe sie mit Gold; mit ihnen soll der Tisch getragen werden.

25:28 The bars also themselves thou shalt make of setim wood, and shalt overlay them with gold, to bear up the table.

25:29 Weiter fertige die für ihn erforderlichen Schüsseln und Schalen, die Kannen und Becher an, die zu den Trankopfern gebraucht werden; aus feinem Gold sollst du sie herstellen.

25:29 Thou shalt prepare also dishes, and bowls, censers, and cups, wherein the libations are to be offered, of the purest gold.

25:30 Auf den Tisch aber sollst du beständig Schaubrote vor mich hinlegen.

25:30 And thou shalt set upon the table loaves of proposition in my sight always.

25:31 Weiter sollst du einen Leuchter aus feinem Gold anfertigen; in getriebener Arbeit soll der Leuchter, sein Fuß und sein Schaft, angefertigt werden; seine Blumenkelche – Knäufe mit Blüten – sollen aus einem Stück mit ihm gearbeitet sein.

25:31 Thou shalt make also a candlestick of beaten work, of the finest gold, the shaft thereof, and the branches, the cups, and the bowls, and the lilies going forth from it.

25:32 Sechs Arme sollen von seinen Seiten ausgehen, drei Arme auf jeder Seite des Leuchters.

25:32 Six branches shall come out of the sides, three out of one side, and three out of the other.

25:33 Drei mandelblütenförmige Blumenkelche – je ein Knauf mit einer Blüte – sollen sich an jedem Arm befinden; so soll es bei allen sechs Armen sein, die von dem Leuchter ausgehen.

25:33 Three cups as it were nuts to every branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily: and three cups likewise of the fashion of nuts in the other branch, and a bowl withal, and a lily. Such shall be the work of the six branches, that are to come out from the shaft:

25:34 Am Schaft selbst aber sollen sich vier mandelblütenförmige Blumenkelche – Knäufe mit Blüten – befinden,

25:34 And in the candlestick itself shall be four cups in the manner of a nut, and at every one bowls and lilies.

25:35 und zwar soll sich an ihm immer ein Knauf unter jedem Paar der sechs Arme befinden, die vom Schaft des Leuchters ausgehen.

25:35 Bowls under two branches in three places, which together make six, coming forth out of one shaft.

25:36 Ihre Knäufe und Arme sollen aus einem Stück mit ihm bestehen: der ganze Leuchter soll eine einzige getriebene Arbeit von feinem Gold sein.

25:36 And both the bowls and the branches shall be of the same beaten work of the purest gold.

25:37 Sodann sollst du sieben Lampen für ihn anfertigen; und man soll ihm diese Lampen so aufsetzen, daß sie den vor dem Leuchter liegenden Raum erleuchten.

25:37 Thou shalt make also seven lamps, and shalt set them upon the candlestick, to give light over against.

25:38 Auch die zugehörigen Lichtscheren und Pfannen sollen aus feinem Gold bestehen.

25:38 The snuffers also, and where the snuffings shall be put out, shall be made of the purest gold.

25:39 Aus einem Talent feinen Goldes soll man ihn nebst allen diesen Geräten herstellen.

25:39 The whole weight of the candlestick, with all the furniture thereof, shall be a talent of the purest gold.

25:40 Gib wohl acht, daß du alles genau nach dem Musterbild anfertigst, das dir auf dem Berge gezeigt werden soll.«

25:40 Look, and make it according to the pattern that was shewn thee in the mount.
