15:1 Weiter sah ich ein anderes großes und wunderbares Zeichen im Himmel: sieben Engel, welche sieben Plagen (herbeizuführen) hatten, die letzten; denn durch diese kam der Zorn Gottes zum Abschluß.

15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God.

15:2 Und ich sah etwas wie ein kristallenes Meer, das mit Feuer durchmengt war, und ich sah die, welche den Sieg über das Tier und sein Bild und über seine Namenszahl errungen hatten, an dem kristallenen Meer stehen, mit Harfen (zum Lobpreis) Gottes in der Hand.

15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had overcome the beast and his image and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God:

15:3 Sie sangen das Lied Moses, des Knechtes Gottes, und das Lied des Lammes mit den Worten: »Groß und wunderbar sind deine Werke, Herr, allmächtiger Gott! Gerecht und wahrhaftig sind deine Wege, du König der Völker!

15:3 And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty. Just and true are thy ways, O King of ages.

15:4 Wer sollte sich nicht (vor dir) fürchten, Herr, und deinen Namen nicht preisen? Denn du allein bist heilig. Ja, alle Völker werden kommen und vor dir anbeten; denn deine Rechttaten sind offenbar geworden.«

15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy. For all nations shall come and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest.

15:5 Hierauf hatte ich ein (neues) Gesicht: ich sah, wie der Tempel des Zeltes des Zeugnisses im Himmel sich auftat

15:5 And after these things, I looked: and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened.

15:6 und die sieben Engel, welche die sieben Plagen hatten, aus dem Tempel heraustraten; sie waren in glänzend weiße Leinwand gekleidet und um die Brust mit goldenen Gürteln umgürtet.

15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed with clean and white linen and girt about the breasts with golden girdles.

15:7 Da gab eins von den vier Lebewesen den sieben Engeln sieben goldene Schalen, die mit dem Zorn des in alle Ewigkeit lebenden Gottes gefüllt waren;

15:7 And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.

15:8 und der Tempel füllte sich mit Rauch von der Herrlichkeit Gottes und von seiner Kraft; und niemand konnte in den Tempel eintreten, bis die sieben Plagen der sieben Engel zu Ende waren.

15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God and from his power. And no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
