43:1 Schaffe mir Recht, o Gott, und führe meinen Rechtsstreit gegen ein liebloses Volk! Von Menschen des Trugs und der Bosheit errette mich, HERR!

43:1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core, to give understanding.

43:2 Du bist ja der Gott, der mich schützt: warum hast du mich verstoßen? Warum muß ich trauernd einhergehn unter dem Druck des Feindes?

43:2 For thou art God my strength: why hast thou cast me off? and why do I go sorrowful whilst the enemy afflicteth me?

43:3 Sende dein Licht und deine Treue! Die sollen mich leiten, mich bringen zu deinem heiligen Berge und deiner Wohnstatt,

43:3 Sent forth thy light and thy truth: they have conducted me, and brought me unto thy holy hill, and into thy tabernacles.

43:4 damit ich zum Altar Gottes komme, zu dem Gott meines Freudenjubels, und unter Zitherklang dich preise, o Gott, mein Gott!

43:4 And I will go in to the altar of God: to God who giveth joy to my youth.

43:5 Was betrübst du dich, meine Seele, und stürmst so ruhlos in mir? Harre auf Gott! Denn ich werde ihm noch danken, ihm, meines Angesichts Hilfe und meinem Gott.

43:5 To thee, O God my God, I will give praise upon the harp: why art thou sad, O my soul? and why dost thou disquiet me?
