Latin Prayer

Last updated: November 5, 2026

These terms apply to the Latin Prayer app for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Android (the «app»), and to the account page at my.latinprayer.org. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Who we are

Latin Prayer is made and offered by:

Dushan Wegner
Calle Maria Cristina 38, 2º Piso
38004 Santa Cruz de Tenerife
Spain

Tax number (NIE): Y5028491S

Email: [email protected]

«We» and «us» in these terms means Dushan Wegner.

The app is free

Everything in Latin Prayer is free to use: the Mass, the Rosary, the Bible, the prayers, the saints, the examination of conscience, the Latin vocabulary, and syncing across your devices. There are no ads. No feature is locked behind a payment.

Supporting Latin Prayer

You can support the work in the app, if you want to:

  • One-time gifts. A single payment. It buys no content or feature.
  • Latin Prayer Supporter. A monthly subscription. It also buys no content or feature: it is a regular gift that keeps Latin Prayer going, and the app shows you as a supporter.

Payments go through Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not through us. The price is the one the store shows you before you confirm, in your currency and with any taxes the store adds.

The subscription renews every month at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account. In the app, «Manage or cancel your subscription» takes you there. When you cancel, the subscription runs to the end of the month you have paid for and is not renewed. If the price ever changes, the store tells you first, and asks for your consent where the law or its rules require it.

Refunds are handled by the store you paid through, under its own rules: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play as described in Google Play’s refund help.

Your right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have the rights consumer law gives you, including the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. To use it, ask the store you paid through for a refund, or write to us at [email protected] and we will help. Nothing in these terms limits these rights.

The store’s own terms also apply to your purchase: Apple’s Media Services Terms, or the Google Play Terms of Service.

Your account

You can use the app without an account. If you sign in (with Apple, Google or an emailed link), your bookmarks, notes, prayer history and vocabulary progress are synced across your devices. Keep access to your sign-in method safe. You can delete your account at any time. What we store and why is set out in the privacy policy for the app.

The texts

The liturgical texts, the Vulgate and the classic translations in the app are public domain or used under their licences, and each one names its source. The app itself is ours: its design, its code, its own translations and explanations, its audio and its pictures. You may use the app for your own prayer and study, and share what it shows you with others. You may not copy the app or its content in bulk, sell it, or present it as your own.

We take care that the texts are correct and follow the 1962 Roman rite. Still, mistakes can happen. The app is an aid to prayer and is no substitute for your missal, your parish or your priest. If you find an error, please tell us at [email protected].

Fair use

Please do not misuse the app or its servers. That means no attacking them, no automated mass downloading, and no use that disrupts others. If an account is misused, we may suspend it.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Latin Prayer and may change, add or remove features. We try to keep the app and its sync available but cannot promise it will always run without interruption. If we ever stop offering the app or the subscription, we will say so in advance, and no new subscription payments will be taken.

Liability

We are liable without limit for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for the loss of data you have not synced. Nothing in these terms limits the rights consumer law gives you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects your subscription, we tell you in the app before it applies.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
