6:1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

6:1 Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:

6:2 Command Aaron and his sons: This is the law of a holocaust. It shall be burnt upon the altar, all night until morning: the fire shall be of the same altar.

6:2 »Gib Aaron und seinen Söhnen folgende Weisungen: Diese Vorschriften gelten für das Brandopfer: Dieses, das Brandopfer, soll auf dem Altar da, wo es angezündet worden ist, die ganze Nacht hindurch bis zum Morgen verbleiben, und das Altarfeuer soll dadurch brennend erhalten werden.

6:3 The priest shall be vested with the tunick and the linen breeches; and he shall take up the ashes of that which the devouring fire hath burnt: and putting them beside the altar,

6:3 Der Priester soll sein linnenes Gewand anziehen und sich die linnenen Beinkleider an den Leib legen und die Fettasche, in welche das Feuer das Brandopfer auf dem Altar verbrannt hat, wegräumen und sie neben den Altar schütten.

6:4 Shall put off his former vestments, and being clothed with others, shall carry them forth without the camp, and shall cause them to be consumed to dust in a very clean place.

6:4 Alsdann soll er seine (linnenen) Kleider ausziehen und andere (gewöhnliche) Kleider anlegen und die Asche an einen reinen Ort vor das Lager hinausschaffen.

6:5 And the fire on the altar shall always burn, and the priest shall feed it, putting wood on it every day in the morning: and laying on the holocaust, shall burn thereupon the fat of the peace offerings.

6:5 Das Feuer aber auf dem Altar soll dadurch in Brand erhalten werden und darf nicht erlöschen: jeden Morgen soll der Priester Holzscheite auf dem Altar anzünden und das (Morgen-) Brandopfer auf ihm zurechtlegen und über ihm die Fettstücke der Heilsopfer in Rauch aufgehen lassen.

6:6 This is the perpetual fire which shall never go out on the altar.

6:6 Ein beständiges Feuer soll auf dem Altar unterhalten werden; es darf nie erlöschen!«

6:7 This is the law of the sacrifice and libations, which the children of Aaron shall offer before the Lord, and before the altar.

6:7 »Folgende Vorschriften aber gelten für das Speisopfer: Die Söhne Aarons sollen es vor den HERRN an die Vorderseite des Altars heranbringen.

6:8 The priest shall take a handful of the flour that is tempered with oil, and all the frankincense that is put upon the flour: and he shall burn on the altar for a memorial of most sweet odour to the Lord.

6:8 Dann nehme er eine Handvoll davon, nämlich von dem Feinmehl des Speisopfers und von dessen Öl, dazu den gesamten Weihrauch, der auf dem Speisopfer liegt, und lasse es auf dem Altar in Rauch aufgehen als ein Feueropfer lieblichen Geruchs, als den Duftteil davon für den HERRN.

6:9 And the part of the flour that is left, Aaron and his sons shall eat, without leaven: and he shall eat it in the holy place of the court of the tabernacle.

6:9 Was dann (von dem Speisopfer) noch übrig ist, sollen Aaron und seine Söhne essen; ungesäuert soll es an heiliger Stätte verzehrt werden; im Vorhof des Offenbarungszeltes sollen sie es essen.

6:10 And therefore it shall not be leavened, because part thereof is offered for the burnt sacrifice of the Lord. It shall be most holy, as that which is offered for sin and for trespass.

6:10 Es darf nicht mit Sauerteig gebacken werden; es ist ihr Anteil, den ich ihnen von meinen Feueropfern zugewiesen habe: hochheilig ist es wie das Sündopfer und wie das Schuldopfer.

6:11 The males only of the race of Aaron shall eat it. It shall be an ordinance everlasting in your generations concerning the sacrifices of the Lord: Every one that toucheth them shall be sanctified.

6:11 Alle männlichen Personen unter den Nachkommen Aarons dürfen es genießen; eine für ewige Zeiten festgesetzte Gebühr von den Feueropfern des HERRN soll es von Geschlecht zu Geschlecht sein. Jeder (Unbefugte), der diese Dinge berührt, soll dem Heiligtum verfallen sein.«

6:12 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

6:12 Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:

6:13 This is the oblation of Aaron, and of his sons, which they must offer to the Lord, in the day of their anointing. They shall offer the tenth part of an ephi of flour for a perpetual sacrifice, half of it in the morning, and half of it in the evening.

6:13 »Dies soll die Opfergabe Aarons und seiner Söhne sein, die sie dem HERRN darzubringen haben an dem Tage, an welchem er gesalbt wird: ein Zehntel Epha Feinmehl als regelmäßiges Speisopfer, die eine Hälfte davon am Morgen, die andere Hälfte am Abend.

6:14 It shall be tempered with oil, and shall be fried in a fryingpan.

6:14 Auf einer Platte soll es mit Öl zubereitet werden; zusammengerührt sollst du es darbringen; zerbröckelt zu einem Brockenspeisopfer sollst du es darbringen als einen lieblichen Geruch für den HERRN.

6:15 And the priest that rightfully succeedeth his father, shall offer it hot, for a most sweet odour to the Lord: and it shall he wholly burnt on the altar.

6:15 Auch der Priester, der an Aarons Statt aus der Zahl seiner Söhne gesalbt ist, soll es als eine auf ewige Zeiten festgesetzte Gebühr für den HERRN herrichten: als Ganzopfer soll es verbrannt werden;

6:16 For every sacrifice of the priest shall be consumed with fire: neither shall any man eat thereof.

6:16 denn jedes Speisopfer eines Priesters soll ein Ganzopfer sein: es darf nichts davon gegessen werden.«

6:17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:

6:17 Weiter gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:

6:18 Say to Aaron and his sons: This is the law of the victim for sin. In the place where the holocaust is offered, it shall be immolated before the Lord. It is holy of holies.

6:18 »Rede mit Aaron und seinen Söhnen und gebiete ihnen: Folgende Vorschriften gelten für das Sündopfer: An dem Orte, wo das Brandopfer geschlachtet wird, soll auch das Sündopfer vor dem HERRN geschlachtet werden: es ist hochheilig.

6:19 The priest that offereth it, shall eat it in a holy place, in the court of the tabernacle.

6:19 Der Priester, der das Sündopfer darbringt, soll es verzehren; an heiliger Stätte soll es gegessen werden, nämlich im Vorhof des Offenbarungszeltes.

6:20 Whatsoever shall touch the flesh thereof, shall be sanctified. If a garment be sprinkled with the blood thereof, it shall be washed in a holy place.

6:20 Jeder (Unbefugte), der sein Fleisch berührt, soll dem Heiligtum verfallen sein; und wenn etwas von seinem Blut an ein Kleid spritzt, so mußt du das Kleidungsstück, an das es gespritzt ist, an heiliger Stätte waschen.

6:21 And the earthen vessel, wherein it was sodden, shall be broken: but if the vessel be of brass, it shall be scoured, and washed with water.

6:21 Ein irdenes Gefäß, in dem man es gekocht hat, muß zerbrochen werden; ist es aber in einem kupfernen Gefäß gekocht worden, so muß dieses gescheuert und mit Wasser ausgespült werden.

6:22 Every male of the priestly race shall eat of the flesh thereof, because it is holy of holies.

6:22 Alle männlichen Personen der Priesterschaft dürfen davon essen: es ist hochheilig.

6:23 For the victim that is slain for sin, the blood of which is carried into the tabernacle of the testimony to make atonement in the sanctuary, shall not be eaten, but shall be burnt with fire.

6:23 Aber von allen Sündopfern, von deren Blut ein Teil in das Offenbarungszelt gebracht worden ist, (damit) im Heiligtum die Sühnung zu vollziehen, darf nichts gegessen werden, sondern sie sind im Feuer zu verbrennen.«
