47:1 A psalm of a canticle, for the sons of Core, on the second day of the week.

47:1 Dem Musikmeister, von den Korahiten, ein Psalm.

47:2 For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.

47:2 Ihr Völker alle, klatscht in die Hände, jauchzet Gott mit Jubelrufen zu!

47:3 He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.

47:3 Denn der HERR, der Höchste, ist furchtbar, ein mächtiger König über die ganze Erde.

47:4 He hath chosen for us his inheritance, the beauty of Jacob which he hath love.

47:4 Er hat Völker unter unsre Herrschaft gebeugt und Völkerschaften unter unsre Füße;

47:5 God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.

47:5 er hat uns unser Erbteil auserwählt, den Stolz Jakobs, den er liebt. SELA.

47:6 Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.

47:6 Aufgefahren ist Gott unter Jauchzen, der HERR beim Schall der Posaunen.

47:7 For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.

47:7 Lobsinget Gott, lobsinget, lobsingt unserm König, lobsinget!

47:8 God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.

47:8 Denn König der ganzen Erde ist Gott: so singt ihm denn ein kunstvolles Lied!

47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.

47:9 Gott ist König geworden über die Völker, Gott hat sich gesetzt auf seinen heiligen Thron.

47:10 Die Edlen der Völker haben sich versammelt als das Volk des Gottes Abrahams; denn Gott sind untertan die Schilde der Erde: hoch erhaben steht er da.
