46:1 Unto the end, for the sons of Core.

46:1 Dem Musikmeister, von den Korahiten, im Bass-Stimmsatz, ein Lied.

46:2 Therefore we will not fear, when the earth shall be troubled; and the mountains shall be removed into the heart of the sea.

46:2 Gott ist uns Zuflucht und Stärke, als Hilfe in Nöten wohlbewährt befunden.

46:3 Their waters roared and were troubled: the mountains were troubled with his strength.

46:3 Darum bangen wir nicht, wenngleich die Erde vergeht, wenn Berge mitten im Meer versinken;

46:4 The stream of the river maketh the city of God joyful: the most High hath sanctified his own tabernacle.

46:4 mögen tosen, mögen schäumen seine Wogen, mögen beben die Berge von seinem Ungestüm: der HERR der Heerscharen ist mit uns, ein’ feste Burg ist uns der Gott Jakobs! SELA.

46:5 God is in the midst thereof, it shall not be moved: God will help it in the morning early.

46:5 Ein Strom ist da: seine Bäche erfreuen die Gottesstadt, das Heiligtum, die Wohnung des Höchsten.

46:6 Nations were troubled, and kingdoms were bowed down: he uttered his voice, the earth trembled.

46:6 Gott ist in ihrer Mitte: sie wird nicht wanken, Gott schützt sie, schon wenn der Morgen tagt.

46:7 The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector.

46:7 Völker tobten, Königreiche wankten: er ließ seinen Donner dröhnen, da zerfloß die Erde.

46:8 Come and behold ye the works of the Lord: what wonders he hath done upon earth,

46:8 Der HERR der Heerscharen ist mit uns, ein’ feste Burg ist uns der Gott Jakobs! SELA.

46:9 Making wars to cease even to the end of the earth. He shall destroy the bow, and break the weapons: and the shield he shall burn in the fire.

46:9 Kommt her und schauet die Taten des HERRN, der Wunderbares wirket auf Erden,

46:10 Be still and see that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, and I will be exalted in the earth.

46:10 der den Kriegen ein Ziel setzt bis ans Ende der Erde, der Bogen zerbricht und Speere zerschlägt, Kriegswagen mit Feuer verbrennt!

46:11 The Lord of armies is with us: the God of Jacob is our protector.

46:11 »Laßt ab und erkennt, daß ich (nur) Gott bin, erhaben unter den Völkern, erhaben auf Erden!«

46:12 Der HERR der Heerscharen ist mit uns, ein’ feste Burg ist uns der Gott Jakobs! SELA.
