113:1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.
113:1 alleluia laudate pueri Dominum laudate nomen Domini
113:2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.
113:2 sit nomen Domini benedictum ex hoc nunc et usque in saeculum
113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.
113:3 a solis ortu usque ad occasum laudabile nomen Domini
113:4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.
113:4 excelsus super omnes gentes Dominus super caelos gloria eius
113:5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:
113:5 quis sicut Dominus Deus noster qui in altis habitat
113:6 And looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?
113:6 et humilia respicit in caelo et in terra
113:7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill:
113:7 suscitans a terra inopem et de stercore erigens pauperem
113:8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.
113:8 ut conlocet eum cum principibus cum principibus populi sui
113:9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.
