24:1 On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein.

24:1 psalmus David prima sabbati Domini est terra et plenitudo eius orbis terrarum et qui habitant in eo

24:2 For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers.

24:2 *quia; ipse super maria fundavit eum et super flumina praeparavit eum

24:3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?

24:3 quis ascendit in montem Domini aut quis stabit in loco sancto eius

24:4 The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

24:4 innocens manibus et mundo corde qui non accepit in vano animam suam nec iuravit in dolo proximo suo

24:5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.

24:5 hic accipiet benedictionem a Domino et misericordiam a Deo salvatore suo

24:6 This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.

24:6 haec est generatio quaerentium eum quaerentium faciem Dei Iacob diapsalma

24:7 Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.

24:7 adtollite portas principes vestras et elevamini portae aeternales et introibit rex gloriae

24:8 Who is this King of Glory? the Lord who is strong and mighty: the Lord mighty in battle.

24:8 quis est iste rex gloriae Dominus fortis et potens Dominus potens in proelio

24:9 Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.

24:9 adtollite portas principes vestras et elevamini portae aeternales et introibit rex gloriae

24:10 Who is this King of Glory? the Lord of hosts, he is the King of Glory.

24:10 quis est iste rex gloriae Dominus virtutum ipse est rex gloriae diapsalma
